The BBC is reporting that Celtic Football Club has publicly appealed to the Scottish TUC to call off its plan to distribute 10,000 Palestinian flags at the match tomorrow involving an Israeli team.  This is what we have come to: a football club is more sensitive to the issues than a trade union federation.
